A Mechanical Engineering MS graduate from University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a specialization in Renewable Energy and Policy, Mustafa, and his organization, have been actively involved in the transition towards a greener future for Pakistan.

Omais Abdur Rehman is a distinguished mechanical engineer with a doctorate in ‘Engineering and Information Technology’ from Spain. He specialises in energy transition, renewable energy, policy analysis, energy modelling, and project management. Omais has a rich and diverse professional background, having worked in various environments, including a multinational oil and gas firm, an innovative startup, a research institute, and a corporate firm.

Mr. Ubaid ur Rehman Zia works at Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and completed his Master’s degree in Energy Systems in 2020. With a track record of over five years in energy modeling and evidence-based policy making for Pakistan’s energy sector, he possesses expertise in various areas such as evidence-based research,he possesses expertise in various areas.

Ammara has a professional degree in Environmental Sciences from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. She has experience working in climate change and policy landscapes and possesses expertise in project management, outreach and communications, and devising reports and proposals on diverse themes — ranging from climate mitigation and adaptation strategies to sustainable development initiatives.
