Pakistan Renewable Energy Coalition (PREC) is a dynamic group of allied organizations and experts united by a singular mission of accelerating the growth of renewable energy in Pakistan. Building on the foundation of Pakistan's Alternate and Renewable Energy Policy 2019 and our commitments under the Paris Climate Agreement, we drive transformative change in Pakistan's energy landscape.
Our coalition harnesses the collective expertise of Pakistan's renewable energy sector to create actionable strategies and solutions. By bridging research, policy, and implementation, we accelerate the adoption of renewable energy technologies and sustainable practices across the country. Our collaborative approach brings together diverse stakeholders which include technical experts, policy analysts and environmental advocates.

Our Mission
Renewable Energy Coalition Pakistan (REC) aims to build a sustainable and resilient future for all. We believe that a transition to a low-carbon economy powered by renewable energy is essential to mitigate the impact of climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance energy security in Pakistan.
Through policy advocacy and grassroots campaigning, REC aims to increase public awareness of the social and environmental costs of fossil fuels and the benefits of renewable energy. We believe that a strong network of member organizations, working together towards a common goal, can drive positive change by influencing policy and shifting narratives and accelerate the transition to a renewable energy future in Pakistan.
